Christopher Pang is Head of Business Development and E-Commerce at Tribeca Wine Merchants, where he leads TWM’s digital strategy, strategic partnerships, marketing initiatives, webshop management, and online client experience.

Prior to joining Tribeca Wine Merchants, Chris was based in Bordeaux and London, working on projects addressing French regional viticultural challenges. His work in vineyard technology and climate adaptation has been featured by the BBC, Le Monde, and Vitisphere. In 2024, he worked harvest at Domaine Leflaive in Puligny-Montrachet. He is a graduate of Worcester College, University of Oxford, and holds the WSET Level 3 Advanced Award in Wines.

Chris’s passion for wine began at an early age, inspired by summers spent working alongside his family’s wine importing business in Hong Kong. Some of his fondest memories are of hosting visiting winemakers, introducing them to the city's fishing villages, seafood markets, and vibrant food culture (customary post-Vinexpo excursion to Lei Yue Mun). Outside the world of wine, he enjoys crate digging for vinyl records, hunting for antiques, struggling at pub quizzes, Sunday league footy, and finding the perfect spot for an elaborate picnic. He is currently based in downtown Manhattan, New York City.

Chris is fascinated by all facets of wine and regularly lends his expertise in interviews and writing opportunities. He also consults on food and wine programs.

In addition to his work at Tribeca Wine Merchants, he serves as Wine Consultant at beloved French bistro Lucien in the East Village. Some of his past projects include contributing to Noble Nine: The Story and Science of the World's Favourite Wines by Andrew Wood (Granta Publications, London) and to the Food and Wine section of Slicker Magazine NYC, among others.
